Meezan Calendar Privacy Policy

Meezan Enterprises ("Meezan", "we", "us", or "our") provides the Meezan Calendar mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Information we handle

Most App features work without a named account.

• On-device information: Location is used on your device for prayer times, Qibla direction, and regional calendar selection. Notes, reminders, tasbih data, preferences, and most settings are stored on your device.
• Optional analytics and crash reports: If you choose to allow them, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may process App usage, device and operating-system information, approximate region, installation identifiers, and diagnostic or crash information. We do not send your precise GPS location, notes, reminders, tasbih entries, or prayer preferences to Firebase Analytics.
• Purchases and Premium: Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Firebase may process purchase details, subscription status, identifiers, and technical information needed to provide, restore, and secure Premium access. Meezan does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Advertising: Google AdMob and its partners may process device, network, approximate location, advertising, and interaction information to provide, measure, secure, and, where permitted by your choices, personalize ads. Meezan does not send your precise GPS location or personal App content to AdMob.
• Protected content and security: Firebase services may process identifiers and technical information needed to verify access, deliver protected Print Edition content, prevent fraud, and secure the App.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the App, calculate and deliver requested features, process purchases, restore Premium access, provide advertisements, diagnose problems, protect the App, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers and sharing

We use Google Firebase, Google AdMob and its advertising partners, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play for the purposes described above. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and are expected to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the App, investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

4. Retention

Information stored on your device remains until you delete it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Analytics, crash, purchase, advertising, security, and access records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their stated purposes, provider requirements, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or records required by law.

5. Your choices

You can:

• deny or revoke location and notification permissions in your device settings;
• choose a region manually;
• decline optional analytics and crash reporting or turn them off in Calendar Settings;
• review advertising privacy choices in the App where available;
• manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play;
• remove local information by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it; and
• ask to access, correct, or delete applicable server records by contacting us.

The App does not require a named Meezan account. We may need limited purchase or App information to identify a record when responding to a request.

6. Children

The App is a general-audience calendar and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us to request review or deletion.

7. Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Our service providers may process information in India, the United States, and other countries where they operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
